NAHL, Sherwood extend agreement
The North American Hockey League announced today that it has agreed to a two-year contract extension with Sherwood Hockey, the Official Equipment Supplier of the NAHL.
“Sherwood has been a valued partner of the NAHL for many years now and we’re very much looking forward to continuing our relationship,” said NAHL commissioner Mark Frankenfeld. “Its products and service are second to none and we couldn’t be happier with the commitment it’s shown to our league and our players.”
As part of the agreement, Sherwood, which has served as the Official Equipment Supplier of the NAHL since 2003, will be recognized as the title sponsor of the NAHL Showcase, Top Prospects Tournament and Futures events. It will also continue to sponsor the NAHL Player of the Week awards.
“Sherwood Hockey is extremely pleased to have the opportunity to be the exclusive supplier of ice hockey-related products to the North American Hockey League,” said Sherwood co-owner-team sales director Georges Guilbault. “We’re also very proud to be part of the league’s special events and tournaments.”
