Minnesota Mallards Alternate Captain Rosenoff makes NCAA Commitment

The Minnesota Mallards of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Ethan Rosenoff has committed to play NCAA hockey for SUNY Canton in the SUNYAC.

The 5-foot-9 skater from Vancouver, British Columbia, is heading to skate with the Roos in New York in the fall. Rosenoff is a third-year veteran of the League of Opportunity. This season, the 20-year-old has laced up in 33 games for the Mallards, tallying two goals while making six assists. One of his tallies was named a decider in a contest. The alternate captain last season was acquired by the Mallards midseason from the Maine Nordiques. Prior to that, he spent time skating with the New Hampshire Mountain Kings. His 2024-25 campaign featured Rosenoff skating in 56 contests, scoring seven goals while producing 21 assists. The ‘05 lefty got his first taste of the NAHL during the 2023-24 season. He skated with the Mountain Kings in 22 games, finding the back of the net eight times, while securing six assists. Rosenoff has skated in 111 games total in the NAHL, tallying 17 goals and 26 assists in his career.

Head coach of the Mallards, Westin Michaud, shares what stands out about Rosenoff.

“Ethan is a dynamic skater who competes hard on and off the ice. His ability to impact the game in all three zones will be a major asset at the college level.”

Rosenoff is one of six members of the Minnesota Mallards to make a college ice hockey commitment.
