The North American Hockey League (NAHL) has announced its Bauer Hockey player awards for December. The Forward of the Month is Siamion Marshchanok from the Austin Bruins. Bauer Hockey NAHL Forward of the Month: Siamion Marshchanok, Austin Bruins

The first player this season to secure a Star of the Month honor twice, Siamion Marshchanok has made his mark in the League of Opportunity. The 5-foot-9 skater led skaters in December with a staggering 18 points. The Belarus native produced 2.57 points per game for the Bruins, helping to lift Austin to six wins in the month and securing his team the top spot in the Central Division. Marshchanok produced five multi-point performances in December, with a season-high five-point game on December 12, 2025. The 20-year-old scored seven goals while making 11 assists across seven games. His offensive ability on the man advantage was crucial, too. Nine of his assists were done on the power play, while two goals were tallied on the man advantage. His play-making skills also came in handy, because two of his goals were named the game-winning goals in December.

Marshchanok shares his gratitude and why he was successful on the ice this past month.

“It’s a pleasure to get this award from the league. Being named for the second time in the season means I'm on the right path and I'll keep my foot on the gas to achieve my full potential. The team made me successful this past month, it’s not just me! Every guy shows up to help each other on the ice every single game, and I'm just trying my best to do my job to be the driver and a leader for the team.”

Marshchanok is a recent commit to Augustana University and he will be heading to school in the fall with his twin brother, Matsvei Marshchanok. The two have lit up the scoresheet for the Bruins this season, ranking first and second on the team in points. Siamion Marshchanok has also turned heads as one of the top scorers in the league. He ranks second overall with 39 assists and 58 points, and features +28 rating on the season. His offensive scoring on the power play ranks the 5-foot-9 forward as one of the top in the league with nine power-play tallies and 21 power-play assists. This award is not the first time Marshchanok has been recognized. He has been named as a Central Division Star of the Week twice (9/29/25, 12/8/25) and September’s Forward of the Month.

Head coach of the Bruins, Steve Howard dives into detail on what he has seen from Marshchanok this past month.

“It was a big month for Siamion with a lot of points and, more importantly, a commitment to play NCAA Division I hockey at Augustana! He’s a hard worker, and he definitely earns everything through that mentality. Our staff could not be happier for Siamion receiving this honor!”

Runner-Up: Skogen Schrott, New Jersey Titans

Bauer Hockey NAHL Defenseman of the Month: Brayden Sprickman, Springfield Jr. Blues

Hailing from the Keystone State and serving as a keystone piece in Springfield’s success in December, Brayden Sprickman leads blueliners in the month in almost every category. The 6-foot-4 defenseman showed up on the scoresheet in every game this past month. The 20-year-old had four multi-point games with his first season-high three-point performance on December 5, 2025, where he scored his first hat trick in his NAHL career. He then spotlighted his second three-point night on December 19, 2025, with a goal and two assists in the Jr. Blues' 3-0 victory. Sprickman scored five goals in the month, while notching seven assists. He led blueliners in December in goals and 12 total points. He featured two points per game as well this past month.

Sprickman dives into detail on how his success is not just his own.

“It’s definitely an honor to receive this award, but it does not reflect just my performance but our team’s performance during the month of December.  I think having my teammates, coaches, and fans behind me just made me want to be the best version of myself on the ice night in and night out.”

The Erie, Pennsylvania, native rode a nine-game point streak. In December, he was also named as a Midwest Division Star of the Week thanks to his hat trick and assist between December 4 and 5, 2025. The first-year NAHL blueliner has recorded seven goals and 12 assists this season for Springfield. His offensive production skyrocketed last month for Springfield, with 12 of his 19 total points being notched in December.

Head coach of the Jr. Blues, Todd Pococke, shares what he has seen from Sprickman in December.

“Brayden has really stepped up his game the last couple of months. He's extremely reliable defensively and is hard to play against, but brings a lot of offense from the back end. Not only has he been great on the ice, but he's a great character young man, and we are excited to see what he can bring the rest of the season.”

Runner-Up: Sam Schulte, Rochester Jr. Americans

Bauer Hockey Goaltender of the Month: Billy Stuski, Oklahoma Warriors

The netminder might be from the City of Brotherly Love; however, Billy Stuski showed no love to the opposing team with his dominant work between the pipes this past month. The 6-foot-2 goaltender did not take a night off for the Warriors, starting on December 12, 2025. Stuski faced the most shots in the month at 254 over seven games played. Despite facing the most, the second-year veteran boasts a dominant 1.71 goals-against average and .950 save percentage for December. He secured five victories for his team, one in overtime and another in shootout fashion. On December 13 and December 14, 2025, Stuski secured back-to-back 40+ save nights, helping him to secure a .977 save percentage. That weekend, he was also recognized as the South Division’s Star of the Week.

Stuski explains what has made him successful and why the team chemistry has played to his advantage.

“It's an honor to be named Goalie of the Month, it shows all the hard work that’s been put in on and off the ice. I think our team has been building better and better each day, and it’s shown in the last few weeks. Having the core in front of me with their trust in me and vice versa builds a chemistry that’s unmatched and when you go in a weekend with a lot of confidence in yourself and your guys, it makes the game a lot more fun and easy.”

The alternate captain has played in the blue paint in 64 games for the Warriors over the past two seasons. He features a 2.61 goals-against average this year and a .922 save percentage. This season with Oklahoma, he has featured four games with 40+ save nights.

Head coach of the Warriors, Mick Berge, shares more on what it means to the organization.

“Billy is very deserving of this award, and we are very proud of him. His play has been phenomenal this past month, which has led to much of our team's success over that stretch.”

Runner-Up: Sam Doyon-Cataquiz, Springfield Jr. Blues
