Zachary Homer led the offensive onslaught with four points
In a stunning display of dominance, the Minnesota Wilderness routed the Anchorage Wolverines with a decisive 9-2 victory at Sullivan Arena.
Minnesota's offensive onslaught was led by Zachary Homer, who contributed two goals and and two assists, while Noah Dziver also found the net twice, capitalizing on their power play opportunities with three power-play goals. Olle Karlsson was instrumental in setting up plays, recording four assists. Talan Blanck, Jackson Reeves and Logan Nagle each put up a goal and a helper for the Wilderness. Andrei Gudin and Robinson Djian also visited the red light district.
Anchorage's Rylan Bydal scored the opening goal in the first period, assisted by Sam Evert and Luc Bydal, but that was one of the few highlights for the home team. Caleb Mahar added a second goal for Anchorage in the third period, a short-handed effort assisted by Evert and Devin Berg.
Minnesota's Ryan Gerlich was solid in goal, saving 19 out of 21 shots, bolstering his team's formidable defense. This victory extends Minnesota's winning streak to four games, further cementing their position as a formidable force in the Midwest Division.
