“This is a city that's had a lot of junior hockey history and a lot of success. When you play junior hockey, you want to have that junior hockey feeling,” said Nick Bruneteau. “And Mason City does a great job of providing that for our players. It's a small town, but the fan base is passionate. [When] our players go out in public, fans know who they are.”
Bruneteau heads into his third season serving as the bench boss for the North Iowa Bulls. He explains how important it is for a coach to help their athletes achieve their goals and desires in the sport. He dives into detail on what his summer has looked like for the Bulls organization as they gear up for their fifth season in the NAHL. Bruneteau reflects on the lessons he learned from last season and how he will use that knowledge for this year’s roster.
