The Minot Minotauros of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Leo Cabulis has committed to play NCAA hockey for Alvernia University in the MAC.
The 6’3 lefty from Latvia will lace up with the Golden Wolves in Pennsylvania in the fall. Cabulis is a first-year skater for the Minotauros. He hit the ice in 42 games, tallying seven goals and seven assists for the program. He featured a +3 rating on the year for the team and two of his goals were scored on the man advantage.
General Manager of the Minotauros, Cody Campbell, shares what it means to see Cabulis take that next step in his hockey career.
“Leo is a big rangy forward with all the tools! We are happy for him and his family that he accomplished his goal of playing college hockey in the US with Alvernia.”
Cabulis is one of 15 members of the Minot Minotauros to make a college hockey commitment.
