Kenai River Captain Larson makes NCAA Commitment

The Kenai River Brown Bears of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that Captain Andrew Larson has committed to play NCAA hockey for University of Wisconsin-Superior in the WIAC.
The 5’10 lefty from Duluth, Minnesota, will hit the ice for the Yellowjackets in the fall in Wisconsin. Larson is a third-year veteran and Captain of the Kenai River Brown Bears. This past season, the Minnesota native hit the ice in 57 games for the Brown Bears, tallying 11 goals and 26 assists. The ‘04 skater was also named as a Top Prospect for the Midwest Division roster at the 2025 Top Prospects Tournament.
In his 2023-24 campaign, Larson played 60 games for Kenai River. He found the back of the net 15 times, while producing 17 assists. In his debut season with the Brown Bears, the forward hit the ice in 11 games and scored one goal. Larson played a total of 128 career games in the NAHL, accumulating 70 career points.
Larson is one of six members of the Kenai River Brown Bears to make a college ice hockey commitment.
