Rochester Forward Dyke makes NCAA DI Commitment

The Rochester Jr. Americans of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Jaden Dyke has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Long Island University 

Second-year veteran of the Jr. Americans, Dyke will stay in New York to skate with the Sharks in the fall. The 6’4 lefty laced up in 68 contests for Rochester this past season. He tallied 25 goals and 37 assists this year and was one of the top scorers on the Jr. Americans. He featured five game-winning goals and seven goals scored on the man advantage. This past season, he was also named as a Top Prospect for the East Division roster at the 2025 Top Prospects Tournament.

In his and Rochester’s debut season in the NAHL, Dyke hit the ice in 64 games for the Jr. Americans, finding the back of the net 13 times while producing 17 assists. Two of his goals were named the decider in contests, while three goals were scored on the power play.

Dyke registered a total of 134 games played in the NAHL, spotlighting 92 career points for the Jr. Americans. He explains his excitement on social media about joining the Long Island University hockey program.

Dyke is the tenth member of the Rochester Jr. Americans to make a Division I hockey college commitment.
