Head Coach of the New Jersey Titans, George Haviland, dove into detail on why having a team on the East Coast was important to him.
“It's why I got into it ten years ago. There are a lot of colleges here on the East Coast, and we can provide them the opportunity through our league to get exposure on a weekly basis here because of the fact that a lot of the colleges are here on the East and we're in a really good footprint. And I think for us as an organization, putting kids in college and moving kids to the next level is at the forefront of our mission.”
Haviland is dedicated to getting athletes to their next step in their hockey career and looks to do just that this upcoming season. As the Titans look to advance athletes, they also desire to make their way back to the Robertson Cup game. As the organization gears up for its 11th season in the NAHL, Haviland dove into detail on what people can expect from the Titans this upcoming year.
