Janesville Forward Brady makes NCAA Commitment

The Janesville Jets of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Rylan Brady has committed to play NCAA hockey for Trine University in the NCHA.

The Janesville Jet leading point-scorer, Brady, will hit the ice with the Thunder in Angola, Indiana. Brady is a third-year veteran in the NAHL. This past season, the Michigan native laced up in 52 games, finding the back of the net nine times while producing a team-leading 25 assists.

Before Brady skated with the Midwest Division team, the ‘04 skater spent two seasons in the South Division with the Oklahoma Warriors and Wichita Falls Warriors. Brady was a member of the 2023 Robertson Cup Championship team. He hit the ice in 68 games with the Warriors, tallying 23 goals and 23 assists. He ranked second on Oklahoma with his 23 goals and seven power play goals for the season. Additionally, the Michigan native was clutch in crucial moments for the Warriors. He scored six game-winning goals for Oklahoma, and he ranked second on his roster with that number.

In Brady’s debut season in the NAHL, he laced up in 43 games with the Wichita Falls Warriors. He registered four goals and two assists in his rookie season. 

The 21-year-old played 163 games in the NAHL, tallying 36 goals and 55 assists for a total of 86 career points. Brady will also join fellow NAHL player, Nick White from the Johnstown Tomahawks, in the fall. 

“He was counted on to lead the team and put the puck in the back of the net when we needed it most.” Head Coach Lennie Childs stated. “Rylan is a highly skilled and super competitive player who has elite leadership qualities. He is going to be a sure-fire contributor to Trine and continue their strong culture they have there.”

Brady is one of eight members of the Janesville Jets to make a college ice hockey commitment.
