New Mexico Forward Asberg makes NCAA Commitment

The New Mexico Ice Wolves of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Herman Asberg has committed to play NCAA hockey for Nichols College in the CNE.
The 6’3 lefty from Sweden is heading to skate in Dudley, Massachusetts for the Bisons. Asberg is a first-year skater in the NAHL. This season he laced up in 46 contests with the Ice Wolves, tallying five goals and 12 assists. Two of his goals were named the decider of games, while two were scored on the man advantage. The 20-year-old will join Gavin Duckworth from the Elmira Aviators in the fall at Nichols College.
Head Coach of the Ice Wolves, Kyle McKenzie, shares more on what he has seen from Asberg this season.
“Herman put a lot of time and effort into sharpening his game last season. His commitment is very well deserved. He is a great teammate and we look forward to following him throughout his career.”
Asberg is one of eight members of the New Mexico Ice Wolves to make a college ice hockey commitment.
