Corpus Christi Defenseman Perrault makes NCAA Commitment
Raymond Perrault has committed to play NCAA hockey for SUNY Oswego

The Corpus Christi IceRays of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Raymond Perrault has committed to play NCAA hockey for SUNY Oswego in the SUNYAC.
The 6’3 lefty from Tipp City, Ohio is heading to Oswego, New York to play with the Lakers. Perrault is a third-year veteran of the NAHL. This past season he laced up in 61 games for the IceRays, tallying six goals and 11 assists. His ability to find the back of the net came at crucial times for Corpus Christi because three of his six goals were game-winning goals. Additionally, the ‘04 blueliner features a +15 rating for the year.
Before heading down South, Perrault spent time with the Maryland Black Bears. He skated a full year with them during the 2023-24 season, and played a total of 10 games after signing a Tender to the Black Bears in late November of 2022.
His first full season with Maryland featured him hitting the ice in 60 games, registering three goals and two assists. One of his three goals was the decider in a contest. As an affiliate player during the 2022-23 season, Perrault played in 10 games and produced two assists for the East Division team.
Anchorage Wolverines’ netminder Michael Manzi will join the 6’3 blueliner in the fall.
Assistant Coach of the IceRays, Phil Oberlin, shares more on the development he has seen from Perrault.
“Ray completely surpassed any expectations we had for him. He was an integral part of the most successful season the IceRays have had during the program's time in the NAHL. Ray brought with him leadership, skill, and added some additional toughness, which immediately fit into the type of game we wanted to play. He has an unmatched work ethic and SUNY Oswego is getting a fantastic hockey player.”
Perrault is one of sixteen members of the Corpus Christi IceRays to make a college ice hockey commitment.
