Anchorage Defenseman Stimple makes NCAA Commitment

The Anchorage Wolverines of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Jackson Stimple has committed to play NCAA hockey for SUNY Geneseo in the UCHC.

The 6’5 righty from Ohio is heading to the Empire State to skate with the Knights in the fall. Stimple is a second-year veteran on the Wolverines. This past season he hit the ice in 62 games for the Alaskan team. Stimple tallied four goals and made 24 assists this past year. Stimple was named as a Top Prospect for the Midwest Division teams for the past two seasons for the Top Prospects Tournament. 

His debut year with the Wolverines had him lacing up in 64 contests, scoring nine goals and producing 15 assists. Three of his nine goals were scored on the power play and he featured a +16 rating. 

Stimple will join fellow teammate Daniel Bagnole and Rochester Jr. American Demitri Difloro in the fall.

Stimple is one of 12 members of the Anchorage Wolverines to make a college hockey commitment.
