Watertown Forward Mikesch makes NCAA Commitment

The Watertown Shamrocks of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Eliott Mikesch has committed to play NCAA hockey for University of Wisconsin-Superior in the WIAC.
The Green Bay, Wisconsin skater is returning to his home state to skate with the Yellowjackets. The 20-year-old laced up for 57 contests with the Shamrocks this year. The 5’11 lefty tallied six goals and made eight assists for the South Dakota team. Mikesch featured his best contest in late December against the St. Cloud Norsemen. He tallied a goal and assist in the first period within eight seconds of each other.
Mikesch will join fellow NAHL skater, AJ Reed from the El Paso Rhinos this upcoming season..
Head Coach of the Shamrocks, Casey Kirley, shares his excitement and explains the development he has seen from them.
“We are extremely proud of Eli for his commitment to UW-Superior. Eli takes his development as a player very seriously, having spent countless hours at the rink outside of practice working on individual skills, as well as studying video. Superior is getting a solid 200-foot player who will do anything to add to the success of his team.”
Mikesch is one of thirteen members of the Watertown Shamrocks to make a college ice hockey commitment.
