Rochester Forward Brownlee makes NCAA Commitment

The Rochester Jr. Americans of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Landon Brownlee has committed to play NCAA hockey for Middlebury College in the NESCAC.
The 6’1 lefty from Finch, Ontario will skate with the Panthers in Vermont this upcoming fall. Brownlee is a second-year veteran of the Rochester Jr. Americans. The ‘04 skater laced up in 69 games this season, featuring 20 goals and 20 assists for the New York team. Two of his goals were deemed as the game-winning goal and seven were scored on the man advantage. Brownlee featured a +23 rating for the 2024-2025 season.
Last season, the 21-year-old hit the ice in 66 games for Rochester in their inaugural season. He found the back of the net 11 times and notched 18 assists for the Jr. Americans. Like this season, two of his goals were named the decider in the contest and six of his goals were scored on the power play. Brownlee played a total of 135 games with the Red, White, and Blue across his chest.
Head Coach of the Jr. Americans, Francois Methot, explains more on what he has seen from Brownlee.
“Landon is the ultimate teammate and one of the most coachable players I’ve had the privilege to work with. Middlebury is an outstanding school, and there’s no doubt Landon will thrive both on and off the ice. We were fortunate to have him in our organization for two years, where he played a key role in laying the foundation for future success.”
Brownlee is one of sixteen members of the Rochester Jr. Americans to make a college ice hockey commitment.
