2025 NAHL Entry Draft is Less Than Two Weeks Away

The 2025 NAHL Entry Draft is less than two weeks away and teams across the league are preparing to select their players. The NAHL Entry Draft will take place on Wednesday, June 11th at 1PM CST and will be conducted online at nahl.com.

Eligible players for the 2025 NAHL Entry Draft are for athletes born between 2005-2009. The players must be less than 21 years of age on December 31, 2025. All athletes must either not be listed on a NAHL team roster, played less than 10 NAHL regular season and/or playoff games during the 2024-2025 season, or accept a tender from a NAHL team prior to the 2025 NAHL Entry Draft.

The 2025 NAHL Entry Draft consists of 20 rounds. The number of players each team is able to draft depends on the team’s current roster (protected list) minus the number of 30 players. Each team’s roster is composed of veteran players and signed tenders. For example, if a team has 15 veterans and eight tenders (23 total), that team is allowed seven draft picks.

There is no registration process for the NAHL Entry Draft. Each team will draft individually based upon scouting throughout the season. If a prospective athlete is not drafted, but interested in playing in the NAHL, they are able and encouraged to attend the team's individual open tryout camps.
