Bobcats Claw Their Way to Robertson Cup Title

The Bobcats are your 2025 Robertson Cup champions
Lone Star 2 @ Bismarck 4 (Bobcats win Robertson Cup National Championship): The city of Bismarck’s wait is over, the Bobcats are Robertson Cup champions for the first time since 2010. The number one overall seed in the Robertson Cup playoffs finished the job on Tuesday night as they took down the defending champion Lone Star Brahmas by a score of 4-2.
The Brahmas struck first as Kyle Isenberg stole a puck near the Lone Star bench, went down on a breakaway and slipped a puck past Tomas Anderson to make it 1-0 Lone Star. About five minutes later on the power play. Alexandr Kim deflected a point shot from Matthew Rafalski which squeezed under the arm of Ryan Cameron to tie the game after 20 minutes of action.
In the middle frame, Calle Arvedson threw a puck on net from the point and it had eyes and deflected off a Lone Star defenseman in front to give Bismarck their first lead of the night. Later in the 2nd, Julian Beaumont sent a perfect pass to Josh Lehto who went five hole on Cameron to up the Bismarck lead to two.
The Brahmas had the heart of a champion as they came out swinging in the third. Elias Kumlin sent over a perfect pass over to Ryan Comishock who tapped in his third of the postseason to bring Lone Star within one. The dagger came in the form of Tommy Cronin. After Beaumont fanned a shot from right in front of the goal but was able to find Cronin to bury a shot past Cameron and essentially end any thought of the Brahmas comeback.
Anderson made 28 saves to in order to pick up the win in net. Cameron suffered the defeat as he made 31 stops.
