Philadelphia Forward Dedinas makes NCAA Commitment

The Philadelphia Rebels of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Linas Dedinas has committed to play NCAA hockey for Albertus Magnus College in the UCHC.
Second-year skater in the NAHL, Dedinas, will be skating with the Falcons in New Haven, Connecticut in the fall. The 6’1 lefty has laced up in 56 contests for Philadelphia this season. He has tallied four goals, one of them being the decider, and made 11 assists. The 20-year-old is a native of Lithuania. Last year he suited up for the Lithuania U20 squad during the World Championship Division 2 Group A Tournament in Great Britain. He scored three goals and produced three assists over five games for his team. In the same year, he skated with the New Hampshire Mountain Kings. The ‘04 skater found the back of the net six times while making two assists during his 27 matchups with the Mountain Kings.
Head coach of the Rebels, Justin Hale, explains his excitement for Dedinas to take his next step in his hockey career.
“I am extremely excited for Linas to continue his hockey career at the collegiate level. He has worked hard and demonstrated great perseverance throughout this season. Linas is someone who is always going the extra mile, striving for continued improvement. I look forward to seeing his continued success in this next step in his hockey career!”
