Sunday Wrap-Up: Ice Dogs Complete Sweep of Wolverines
by Sam Krollman

Wyatt Carlson logged two goals for the Ice Dogs in their win on Sunday
Fairbanks 5 @ Anchorage 3 - A pair of goals from Wyatt Carlson would power the Fairbanks Ice Dogs to a 5-3 win over the Anchorage Wolverines on Sunday, earning Fairbanks an all-important weekend sweep. The lone goal of the first belonged to Carlson, and the visitors took the one goal lead heading into the locker room. Just six seconds into the second, Carlson would add his second to double the Anchorage lead, but that would not last too long, as just over five minutes later, Xander Mullens would cut that lead back to one, and Jason Bourdukofsky would tie the game up with just under seven to go in the middle frame. Just two minutes after that, Nick Madsen would give the Ice Dogs the lead on the man advantage, and Kyle Rohrer would bury one with just over a minute left to give Fairbanks a two goal lead heading into the final frame. Brock Devlin would get the Wolverines within one with a man advantage goal of his own, but a Adam Timm empty net goal sealed the win for Fairbanks.
