Aberdeen Defenseman Comfort makes NCAA DIII Commitment

The Aberdeen Wings of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Nick Comfort has committed to play NCAA Division III for Milwaukee School of Engineering in the NCHA.
The 5’10 blueliner from Saline, Michigan will be heading to skate as a Raider this fall. Comfort is a third-year veteran on the Wings. He has laced up for a squad across four seasons in the NAHL. So far this season, the ‘04 skater has tallied a goal, made 17 assists, and features a plus-ten rating in 51 games. Last season, the 20-year-old orchestrated four goals, made 12 assists and produced a plus-five rating. During his 2022-2023 campaign, he started his year with the Oklahoma Warriors before being traded to the Aberdeen Wings. While at the Warriors, he skated in 21 matchups and produced three points (1-2–3). When he started to play with the Wings, the ‘04 defenseman scored a goal and made five assists in 19 matchups.
Head coach of the Wings, Scott Langer, explains why Comfort will be great at the next level.
“Nicks is going to make a very solid college hockey player. He is a worker and prides himself on playing the game the right way.”
Comfort is one of six members of the Aberdeen WIngs to make a college ice hockey commitment.
