Oklahoma Defenseman Henry makes NCAA DIII Commitment

The Oklahoma Warriors of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) is proud to announce that defenseman Matt Henry has committed to play NCAA Division III for Alvernia University in the MAC Commonwealth.
A 6’2 lefty from the Sooner State, Matt Henry is heading to play with the Golden Wolves in the fall in Pennsylvania. Henry is a third-year skater in the NAHL. The ‘04 blueliner started his time in the league with the Oklahoma Warriors in the 2022-2023 season for eight games. The following season he moved to the East coast to play with the New Jersey Titans. In his 52 games played, Henry tallied three goals, made six assists, and featured a +10 rating for the 2023-2024 season. The Oklahoma City native decided to move back to where the wind comes sweepin’ down the plain. In his 36 games played this season with the Warriors he has produced four assists.

Henry is the fourth member of the Oklahoma Warriors to make a college ice hockey commitment.
