Lone Star Goaltender Spicer makes NCAA DI Commitment

The Lone Star Brahmas of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that goaltender Jack Spicer has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey this semester for Sacred Heart University in the Atlantic.
The 6’1 netminder got the call and went to Fairfield, Connecticut to play with the Pioneers. In Spicer’s 22 games played this season, 14 of the matchups he walked away in the win column. For his season, he sports a 1.59 goals against average and a .935 save percentage. The 20-year-old from Rockville, Maryland has also produced three shutouts this season with the Brahmas. The past two seasons he has played 63 games with the Waterloo Black Hawks in the USHL.
Spicer shares his thoughts on heading to Sacred Heart this semester.

“We are really excited for Jack and his opportunity to play for the second half of the season with Sacred Heart as they are in the hunt to win a championship. We are sad to see him go, but excited for his opportunity with the Pioneers.”
Spicer is the ninth member of the Lone Star Brahmas to make a Division I college ice hockey commitment.
