New Jersey Defenseman Marshall makes NCAA DIII Commitment
The New Jersey Titans of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Lucas Marshall has committed to play NCAA Division III for Colby College in the NESCAC.
The second-year Titans veteran is heading to Maine. Marshall is a 5’10 blueliner. He has played in 37 games for New Jersey this season. The Newport Beach, California native has found the back of the net once this season and made five assists. Last season, he played in 23 games for New Jersey and scored a goal while making 12 assists.
Head coach of the Titans, George Haviland, shares what he has seen from Marshall’s commitment to his hockey development.
“We are excited about Lucas’ commitment to play college in the NESAC for Colby College. He will be a great fit for them! Lucas has become a guy who we rely on a lot. He is a warrior for us. Every time he is on ice he makes plays, competes, defends and logs lots of minutes, while being a trustworthy defenseman with a compete-level like I have not seen in a while. He is a ‘one percenter,’ who leaves it all out on ice for every shift. Congratulations Lucas!”
Marshall is the twelfth member of the New Jersey Titans to make a college ice hockey commitment.
