Danny Bagnole had the game winning goal in the shootout

Janesville 1 @ Anchorage 2 (SO) - The Janesville Jets took on the Anchorage Wolverines in a Sunday matchup. Despite both team’s offenses putting consistent pressure on the defenses: the Jets with 19 shots in two periods and the Wolverines with 26, both teams remained scoreless after 40 minutes of play. Early in the third period, the game was quickly tied with Ryan Brady scoring for the Jets and Duke Gentzler scoring for the Wolverines in the first four minutes. Neither team scored the rest of regulation and in overtime, sending it into overtime. In front of the home crowd, Anchorage native Toby Carlson scored the game-winning goal in the shootout for his team.
