Sunday Wrap Up: Mudbugs Win Series With IceRays

Shreveport 2 @ Corpus Christi 0 - It was a goaltender duel between Nikola Goich and Waylon Esche as the Mudbugs pulled out a nail biting 2-0 win over the IceRays. The game was scoreless for the first 57 minutes of action as the teams traded chances back and forth. Finally Lucas Deeb broke the tie with his 12th goal of the season with the assists credited to Bryce Boucher and Carter McKay. Boucher would add an empty net tally at the buzzer for the Mudbugs. Goich stopped all 26 shots he faced, securing his second shutout of the year. Esche finished the evening with 24 saves for Corpus Christi.
