Danbury 6 @ Johnstown 1 - Thanks to an explosive second period, the Danbury Hat Tricks bounced back from their three-game losing streak to defeat the Johnstown Tomahawks 6-1. After a scoreless first period, the Hat Tricks erupted for four unanswered goals, each from a different skater. Forward Niko Tournas guided the attack, assisting two of the four goals scored in the second period. The Tomahawks answered back with one goal before the third period from forward Hank Reed, but Danbury added to its lead in the third with two more scores. Standouts from the Hat Tricks' win were forward Kai Elkie and defenseman Ryan Lukko, who each scored a goal and tallied an assist in the contest.
Rochester 0 @ Maine 4 - For the second time this season, the Rochester Jr Americans were shutout, falling to the Maine Nordiques 4-0. Despite shooting 38 shots on goal, seven more than the Nordiques, the Jr Americans were completely stifled by Maine's goalie, Carter Richardson. The starting goalie for the Nordiques, this was Richardson's second shutout of the season. Offensively, Maine went scoreless in the first period before tallying a pair of goals in the second and third periods. Two of the goals were from the seven power play opportunities afforded to the Nordiques, three more opportunities than Rochester had. Forwards Zion Green and Joseph Gasperko helped lead the way for the Jr Americans, each registering a goal and assist in the win.
New Hampshire 2 @ New Jersey 1 (OT) - The New Jersey Titans tied the game with less than a minute left in regulation but failed to secure the victory, losing to the New Hampshire Mountain Kings in overtime 2-1. After a defenseman Damon Bossie goal put New Hampshire up 1-0 within the first two and a half minutes of the game, neither team scored until late in the third. New Jersey forward Logan Renkowski was the initial hero for the Titans, slapping in the game-tying goal for New Jersey with less than a minute to spare. However, the celebration was short-lived as the game concluded 53 seconds into overtime when New Hampshire forward Kim Hilmersson lit the lantern and scored the game-winning goal for the Mountain Kings.
Northeast 5 @ Elmira 2 - The Elmira Aviators slashed the first and last goals in their game against the Northeast Generals, but they allowed five scores in between to lose 5-2. Two of the five goals scored by the Generals were by forward Jake Gutwirth, his 13th and 14th of the season. Despite supplying 39 shots on goal and having nine power play opportunities, six more than Northeast, the Aviators could not find a rhythm against the Generals' goalie, Aiden Mckenna, who only allowed two goals.
Aberdeen 3 @ North Iowa 4 - The Bulls would look to split the weekend on Saturday night. Goals in the first period from Joseph Coghlin and a power play goal from Austin Osiowy would put them on the right track. However two goals in 11 seconds would level this game in the second period, as Gustas Zemaitis and Nikolai Tishkevich would find the back of the net. A couple minutes later, North Iowa would respond with their own goal scoring burst, as Matthew Munro and Vince Kalscheur would regain the two goal lead. This lead would carry until a late goal from Leonid Bulgakov would make the final minute very interesting. North Iowa would hold on, thanks to Jack Hirshorn’s 39 saves.
Maryland 0 @ Philadelphia 1 (SO) - Philadelphia would look for their revenge on Saturday night as Maryland took the 5-3 win the day prior. The first period would go scoreless, and despite 29 shots in the second, no picks found the back of the net. This trend would continue into the third as both teams could not beat the red hot goaltenders. In overtime, both teams would get chances to win but once again, no goals were scored. It took a shootout where Charles Panchisin would score the game winning goal. Both goaltenders would be credited with a shutout, as Owen Crudale made 38 saves and Ryan Denes made 39 saves in the loss.
Kenai River 0 @ Chippewa 1 - After a thrilling comeback on Friday night, many were expecting another high scoring games between these two teams on Saturday night. Despite 14 shots from the Steel in the first period, they were unable to beat Mitchell Mccusker. The second period would be the same story as both teams would once again fail to score. This game looked like it was heading into overtime until a power play goal from Camden Davis would put Chippewa up late in the period. They would cling on to the 1-0 win, with Devin Shakar grabbing the shutout with 18 saves.
St. Cloud 1 @ Watertown 3 - In a home-and-home matchup between these two teams, St. Cloud would look to complete the weekend sweep against Watertown. The Shamrocks would start the game on a heater, with goals from Eliot Mikesch and Spencer Sasenbury putting their club up two minutes into the opening frame. Carter Sproule would join the party, as his power play marker would send the Shamrocks into the intermission with a commanding three goal lead. In the second period, Sam Karachi would provide St. Cloud with some life as they managed to get on the board. The Norsemen would be unable to find the back of the net in the third and they would split the series for the weekend. Phileas Lachat would make 21 saves in the victory.

The first goal came in the second half of the game, Ronnie Hill scoring on the power play for the Windigo. Their lead was short lived, as the Ice Dogs scored two quick goals to end the second period from Arsenii Vorobev and Cole Burke. The third period saw only nine shots on goal from both teams, but the Ice Dogs capitalized on their chances. Trent Burlison notched the fourth goal of the night for the Warriors to end in regulation.
Colorado 3 @ Amarillo 6 - Three unanswered goals in the final period of play helped the Amarillo Wranglers get the win over the Colorado Grit. A pair of traded goals started the first period. The Wranglers scored in the first 30 seconds from Salvatore Cerrato, followed minutes later by Lucca Ori for the Grit. The lead was quickly taken back for the Wranglers thanks to a goal from Corson Maguire, but the Grit tied the game once again off a powerplay goal from Nicholas Noble. It was the Grits turn to take the lead in the second period with Ori getting his second goal of the game, but Jacob Miller tied the game right back for the Wranglers. The third period saw no answer for the Wranglers offense. Trace Day took the lead early, and in the last two minutes of play Maguire and Morley Phillips ended any hope of a comeback for the Grit.
El Paso 2 @ Odessa 7 - The defense of the Odessa Jackalopes clamped down on the El Paso Rhinos Saturday in the 7-2 victory. The first period was a five goal affair, the first two from Nick Metelkin and Jeremy Jacobs of the Jackalopes. Rhinos forward A.J. Reed kept his scoring streak alive, scoring a power play goal followed by another goal two minutes later to quickly tie the game. The Jackalopes ended the first period with the lead with a late goal from Marcus Fechko. The second period saw the Jackalopes jump on their scoring opportunities while minimizing the Rhinos’. Two more goals from James Richman and Caden Morgan grew the lead, and the Rhinos only registered six shots on goal. With just under a minute left in the period, EJ Paddington would give the Bruins their third goal of the period, and three would be all they needed, as 27 saves from Jack Solomon would earn him a shutout, and Austin all four league points on the weekend.
