Drive Hockey Analytics Partners with NAHL to Bring NHL-Level Player Tracking to the 2025 Combines

December 12, 2024

Drive Hockey Analytics, a leader in hockey analytics technology, is excited to announce a partnership with the North American Hockey League (NAHL) for the 2025 NAHL Combines. This collaboration will provide players participating in the Combines access to NHL-level tracking technology, delivering unparalleled insights into their performance and potential. Drive has quickly become the market leader in hockey tryouts, evaluations, combines, and on-ice testing using advanced wearable sensors and smart-arena technology.

As part of this partnership, Drive will use its cutting-edge technology at the NAHL Combines, capturing real-time data on key aspects of player performance, including skating, fitness, and gameplay metrics. Each player will receive a personalized performance report, complete with benchmarks against elite athletes, actionable insights for improvement, and data-driven evaluation tools trusted by coaches and scouts.

“We are thrilled to partner with the NAHL and provide their players with access to the same analytics technology used at the highest levels of hockey,” said Adam Nathwani, COO of Drive Hockey Analytics. “Our mission is to empower athletes with unbiased, actionable data that helps them reach their full potential. The NAHL Combines are the perfect stage to showcase how our technology can support player development and recruitment.”

The NAHL Combines, a premier event for aspiring junior hockey players, offer a unique opportunity for participants to showcase their skills in front of NAHL coaches and scouts. With the addition of Drive Hockey Analytics, players will now gain a full analytics profile and development resources to elevate their game.

“Partnering with Drive Hockey Analytics takes the Combines to the next level,” said Dennis Vickers, Director of Player Personnel for the NAHL. “This technology not only enhances the experience of the Combines but also provides participants with invaluable feedback that they can use to grow as athletes. We’re excited to offer this cutting-edge experience to our players and families.”

Drive's inclusion at the NAHL Combines underscores the evolving role of data and analytics in player development and recruitment. By providing truly objective evaluation data and benchmarking, Drive is eliminating guess-work and helping to shape the future of hockey.
