Bismarck Defenseman Trevino makes NCAA DI Commitment
The Bismarck Bobcats of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Tristen Trevino has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for the Robert Morris University in the Atlantic.
The 6’3 righty is in his second season playing in the NAHL. Trevino has played 22 games for the Bobcats this season. In those 22 games he has tallied a goal, 10 assists, and has a +12 rating on the season. The 18-year-old is the second Bobcat who will be joining Robert Morris University’s hockey program.
“Tristen has done a great job for us all season long. He came into training camp and became an immediate impact on our back end,” said Bismarck’s head coach, Garrett Roth. “He is a mature, hard working, young man that values education and will have a great opportunity developing on the ice and in the classroom at Robert Morris.”
Trevino is one of ten players to commit to play Division I college hockey on the Bismarck Bobcats
