New Jersey Defenseman Ford makes NCAA DI Commitment

November 19, 2024

The New Jersey Titans of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Odin Ford has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Tennessee State University

The Freeport, New York native is in his second year with the Titans. He was acquired last season from the New Hampshire Mountain Kings. The 6’3 righty has tallied two goals, five assists and has a +5 rating for the season. Last season on the New Jersey Titans, he scored one goal and seven assists. He ended his 2024 campaign with a +7 rating as a Titan.

Ford shared why he is excited to play at Tennessee State.

“It is a Division I college at an HBCU, which is pretty cool. I will also have the opportunity to play as a freshman.”

Ford continued to share that it is “going to be great guys going there and it will be fun on and off the ice. We are going to have great chemistry, a lot of team bonding, and a lot of events at the school as well.”

Ford is the eleventh player to commit to play Division I Hockey on the Titans this season.
