507 Players are Featured on Neutral Zone's NAHL Showcase Report
The North American Hockey League (NAHL) is pleased to announce that their exclusive scouting partner, Neutral Zone, has released their 507-player report from September's NAHL Showcase.
Neutral Zone serves and acts as the NAHL central scouting for all three leagues (NAHL, NA3HL & NAPHL). They identify, rank, and create reports for the NCAA, Junior, and NHL scouts. This information becomes readily available through RinkNet.
During the NAHL Showcase, all 35 NAHL teams, plus the United States National Team Development Program (USNTDP) were in attendance. With 54 games in four days, Neutral Zone’s three scouts got to work evaluating and grading the top players from the NAHL Showcase.
Brian Murphy, Vice President and Director of US Scouting for Neutral Zone, shares how “the NAHL Showcase continues to set the standard in junior hockey, bringing together an exceptional level of talent and competition. Each year, we see players rise to the occasion, and this weekend was no exception.”
The NAHL is known as the “League of Opportunities” and having Neutral Zone as the exclusive partner “has been a game-changer, offering unparalleled exposure for all of our athletes under the NAHL umbrella. Specifically, this weekend, our NAHL players benefited from being able to showcase themselves in front of hundreds of NCAA Division I & III coaches and NHL scouts,” said Dennis Vickers, the Director of Player Personnel of the NAHL and Director of the NAPHL.
With exposure being a cornerstone of the NAHL, Vickers continues that the “access to detailed-player evaluations on both Neutral Zone and RinkNet, coaches and scouts have the tools they need to identify and track talent. The depth and quality of these evaluations have elevated the scouting experience, ensuring every standout player gets the recognition they deserve.”
Neutral Zone’s reports and articles help continue to make the NAHL a destination for those seeking to play college hockey. Vickers explains that "this collaboration is redefining recruitment opportunities for young athletes, strengthening their pathway to NCAA hockey and beyond."
