New Hampshire Forward Hutchen makes NCAA DI Commitment
The New Hampshire Mountain Kings of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward, Jake Hutchen, has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Lindenwood University.
“I am proud to announce my commitment to play Division I college hockey at Lindenwood University,” stated Hutchen. “ I would like to thank my family, friends, coaches and teammates for supporting me along the way.”
Hutchen, 17, is in his first season of playing junior league hockey. Over his 13 games this season, the 6’0 skater scored four goals and made five assists. Prior to making the move to New Hampshire, Corneillie was a native of Illinois and played with the Chicago Mission 16U AAA.
“We are excited for Jake and his family! Lindenwood is getting a fierce competitor in Jake,” said the New Hampshire head coach, Cam Robichaud. “His compete level has allowed him to earn success in the NAHL as one of the youngest players in the league. We look forward to watching Jake continue to grow and excel at the junior level.”
Hutchen is the fifth player on the New Hampshire Mountain Kings to commit to play Division I college hockey.
