Sunday Wrap Up: Generals Storm Back To Win

Luke Gallo scored twice in their victory over the Mountain Kings
New Hampshire 3 @ Northeast 4 - A tremendous second period from the Northeast Generals fueled a comeback victory over the New Hampshire Mountain Kings. Michael Solominsky broke the scoreless tie about midway through the opening period with his first goal of the season. Alex Gelhar increased the New Hampshire lead with his second goal of the year, Jaden Davis and Jaden Johnson each grabbed an assist on both goals. Oli Genest closed out a perfect first period for the Mountain Kings as he made it a 3-0 game with his ninth of the campaign.
The game flipped in the second period as the Generals stormed back to tie the game. Three goals in seven minutes was all it took to bring the game back even. Joseph McGraw scored first with his third of the season. Two minutes later it was Luke Gallo who deposited the puck into the net for his second of the year. And then another two minutes after that Finnegan Connor picked a great time to net his first of the year. Later in the period it was Gallo again who gave the Generals their first lead of the contest.
The third period would be scoreless as both Ryan Nolan and Sam Scopa were perfect. Nolan stopped all six shots he faced to preserve the Generals victory. Nolan finished with 23 saves on the evening while Scopa took the loss, stopping 21 of 25 shots.
