Norsemen forward Silver makes NCAA DI Commitment
The St. Cloud Norsemen of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Max Silver has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Colgate University in the ECAC.
Silver, 17, is playing his first season of junior hockey with the Norsemen after playing last season at the 16U AAA level with the Los Angeles Jr. Kings. After making his move to Minnesota, the ‘07 forward skated in three games at the NAHL Showcase, posting one assist during his first career game with St. Cloud.
“We are excited for Max to commit to play for Colgate University. Max has a ton of potential and has shown that he has the physical skills to jump into junior hockey and onto the Division 1 level,” stated Norsemen Head Coach Joe Exter. “Most importantly Max shows up every day ready to get better. This habit will lead to him having a successful junior season and get him ready for the next level.”
Silver is the 1st player to commit for the Norsemen this season.
