Sunday Wrap-Up: IceRays take series from Ice Wolves

Corpus Christi 5 @ New Mexico 2: Carter Krenke scored an unassisted goal for Corpus Christi in the first to give them the early lead. Lars Petter-Eckholm assisted by Matteus Soderbom increased the IceRays lead. In the second, Stanley Hubbard put the Ice Wolves on the board with a goal assisted by Johnny Johannson and Francois De Villiers. IceRays Matthew Green got a goal assisted by Samuel Misak and Raymond Perrault to put Corpus Christi back up by two. Stepan Kuznetsov increased the lead for the IceRays to 4-1. During the third, Andrew Earl of the Ice Wolves scored a goal assisted by Ethan Hull and Sloan Farmer to bring New Mexico within one. Max Ranstrom iced the game with an unassisted goal for the IceRays. Nikita Volsky made 22 saves for the IceRays and Brendan Holahan of the Ice Wolves made 29 saves.
