Originally from Wisconsin and with prior experience coaching in the state, newly appointed head coach John Mitchell and his staff couldn’t be more excited for the opportunity to lead the Windigo behind the bench. Drawing from his previous experiences coaching in the NAHL and Wisconsin’s prior success, Mitchell isn’t looking to reinvent the wheel in Eagle River and will play a high-level offensive game. With experience advancing from junior to NCAA hockey, Mitchell will look to instill a high competitive level to his players and have them ready for the start of the season.
