NA Now: Rochester Jr. Americans

The NA Now video series will feature an in-depth look into all NAHL teams in preparation for the 2024-25 season, with one team being highlighted daily, leading all the way up until the start of the regular season on September 13th. NA Now will include interviews with each team’s head coach, as they provide fans with their expectations and outlook for the 2024-25 season.

Head Coach: François Méthot (2nd season)

2023-24 season record: 34-18-2-6 – 76 points (3rd in East Division)

2023-24 leading scorer: Matteo Disipio (81 points)

2024 Playoffs: Lost in Division Semifinals 3-2 against Maine

2024-25 Division: East Division

With a year under his belt, Rochester head coach François Méthot and his staff have been working hard to build upon their inaugural season and make the next step. Méthot and the Jr. Americans learned early on how high the level of play is in the league and commends his players and staff across the board for the success in their first year. Within the organization, Rochester has developed the right connections, facilities, and network to expose their players and advance them to the NCAA level. Despite a successful season last year, expectations are set to be higher for both the players and the coaches.
