NA Now: Austin Bruins

The NA Now video series will feature an in-depth look into all NAHL teams in preparation for the 2024-25 season, with one team being highlighted daily, leading all the way up until the start of the regular season on September 13th. NA Now will include interviews with each team’s head coach, as they provide fans with their expectations and outlook for the 2024-25 season.

Head Coach: Steve Howard (8th season) 

2023-24 season record: 31-25-3-1 – 66 points (4th in Central Division)

2023-24 leading scorer: Austin Salani (70 points)

2024 Playoffs: First Round loss to Minot, 3-0

2024-25 Division: Central Division

After finishing fourth in the Central Division, Head Coach Steve Howard noted that his team fought until the end clinching the final playoff spot in the division. After running out of gas against a hot Minot squad, Howard and his staff started preparations for the upcoming season quickly. With the Central Division expanding, Steve is excited to see new faces week in and week out and is ready to continue in bringing a top notch squad to the fans of Austin.
