NA Now: Anchorage Wolverines

The NA Now video series will feature an in-depth look into all NAHL teams in preparation for the 2024-25 season, with one team being highlighted daily, leading all the way up until the start of the regular season on September 13th. NA Now will include interviews with each team’s head coach, as they provide fans with their expectations and outlook for the 2024-25 season.

Head Coach: Nick Walters (2nd year)

2023-24 season record: 39-14-2-5 – 85 points (1st in Midwest Division)

2023-24 leading scorer: Fyodor Nikolayenya (64 points)

2024 Playoffs: Lost in Robertson Cup Semifinal Round to Lone Star, 2-0

2024-25 Division: Midwest Division

In his first season as Head Coach of the Wolverines, Nick Walters led the squad to an impressive 39-14-2-5 record with 85 points. That momentum carried into the postseason as the Wolverines claimed the Midwest Division title and made their second appearance in franchise history at the Robertson Cup Championship. This season, Walters and his squad are determined to get back to where they left off last year.
