IceRays defenseman Govedaris makes NCAA DI Commitment

The Corpus Christi IceRays of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Wolfgang Govedaris has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Northern Michigan University in the CCHA.

Govedaris, 21, is a three-year NAHL player, suiting up for both the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks and most recently, the Corpus Christi IceRays. The Bristol, CT native appeared in 83 games throughout his junior career, recording 34 points (9 goals, 25 assists). 

During the second half of the 2023-24 season, Govedaris went on a six game point streak in March, tallying 9 points, including three two-point games. 

Govedaris is the 5th player to commit for the IceRays this season.
