The Philadelphia Rebels of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Shane Carr has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Curry College in the CCC.
Carr joined the Rebels in early February earning six total points (all assists) in 17 games played. “I’d like to thank my coaches’ teammates, and my family for helping support me through this journey” stated Carr.
“I’m excited for Shane,” said Rebels head coach and general manager Justin Hale. “He was a tremendous in-season addition to both our locker room and on the ice. Shane was someone that guys gravitated towards within the room and looked up to. On the ice he brought a great level of grit paired with skill. I look forward to continuing to follow his journey in college” concluded Hale.
Carr is one of eight players to commit for the Rebels this season.
