Warriors defenseman Vukas makes NCAA DI Commitment

The Oklahoma Warriors of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Branko Vukas has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Miami University - Ohio of the NCHC.
Vukas, 18, had a short stint with the Springfield Jr. Blues during the 2022-23 season before suiting up for the Oklahoma Warriors for the 2023-24 campaign. In 34 games with Oklahoma, the ‘05 blueliner recorded 13 points (2 goals, 11 assists), maintaining a plus-minus of +8. Vukas had his best game of the season on January 20th against the Odessa Jackalopes as he recorded two assists.
“We couldn’t be happier for Branko! From the second he got here he became a very intricate part of our D core and our team,” stated Warriors Head Coach Nate Weossner. “He really continued to grow his game through his practice habits and his competitiveness. He has great poise with the puck and feels pressure well. His ability to find a play is at a very high level and Miami found themselves a very good defenseman!”
Vukas is the 14th player to commit for the Warriors this season.
