Mudbugs forward Vassallo makes NCAA DIII Commitment

The Shreveport Mudbugs of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Colin Vassallo has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for SUNY Oswego in the SUNYAC.
Vassallo, 21, finished out his junior hockey career with the Shreveport Mudbugs, appearing in 59 games, 9 of which were Robertson Cup Playoff games. During his time in Louisiana, the Buffalo, NY native recorded 41 points (17 goals, 16 assists). Of his 17 goals, three were the deciding factor for the Mudbugs while six came on the powerplay. Vassallo recorded three points in a single contest on three separate occasions, netting two goals and tallying one assist in each game.
Vassallo is the 11th player to commit for the Mudbugs this season and will be one of five incoming freshmen with NAHL ties for the Lakers.
