Jr. Americans forward Roberson makes NCAA DIII Commitment

The Rochester Jr. Americans of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Jacob Roberson has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for UMass Boston in the NEHC.
Roberson, 21, is a two-year NAHL player, suiting up for a handful of teams, most recently being the Rochester Jr. Americans. Throughout his 106 junior games, the Jacksonville, FL native recorded 33 points (10 goals, 23 assists). His best game to date came on September 8th as Roberson tallied 2 goals and 2 assists in a single contest. As a league veteran, the 6’2” forward was selected to participate in the 2024 Top Prospects Tournament.
Prior to beginning his junior career, Roberson has been a member of the NAHL family dating back to the 2019-20 season as a member of the 16U Florida Alliance team in the NAPHL. Following his 16U year, he continued in the NAPHL with the Alliance at the 18U level, appearing in a total of 38 games between the two age levels.
Roberson is the 13th player to commit for the Jr. Americans this season.
