Two players with NAHL ties selected in 2024 NHL Draft

Two players with North American Hockey League (NAHL) ties were selected in the 2024 NHL Draft, which was held on June 28-29 at Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

Over the course of the last seven years, a total of 44 players with NAHL ties have been selected in the NHL Draft.

NAHL players selected in the 2024 NHL Draft

Patrick Geary, D, Northeast Generals (2020-21) Round 6, #172 overall to the Buffalo Sabres

Fisher Scott, D, Springfield Jr. Blues (2021-22) Round 7, #208 overall to the Detroit Red Wings

With the 208th overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft, the Detroit Red Wings selected defenseman Fisher Scott. Scott, 19, appeared in 56 games for the Springfield Jr. Blues during the 2021-22 season. During his time in the NAHL, Fisher netted 2 goals and 15 assists for 17 points. Scott is committed to play NCAA Division I hockey in the NCHC with the Colorado College Tigers.
