Bulls forward Newpower makes NCAA DIII Commitment

The North Iowa Bulls of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Jordan Newpower has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for St. John’s University in the MIAC.
Newpower, 20, suited up for his final season of junior hockey with the North Iowa Bulls, an organization he is very familiar with. At the NAHL level, the Lino Lakes, MN appeared in 45 games, recording 9 points (3 goals, 6 assists).
Prior to advancing to the NAHL squad, Newpower was within the Bulls organization at the NA3HL level with the Mason City Toros. Throughout two seasons with the Toros, the 6’1” forward tallied 43 points (19 goals, 24 goals), earning West Division Star of the Week on two separate occasions.
Newpower is the 9th player to commit for the Bulls this season.
