Bruins defenseman Hintz makes NCAA DIII Commitment

The Austin Bruins of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Ryan Hintz has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point in the WIAC.
Hintz, 20, is a two-year NAHL player, suiting up for both the Corpus Christi IceRays and most recently, the Austin Bruins. The Rockford, IL native played a total of 97 games for Corpus Christi, tallying 25 points (4 goals, 21 assists). Since making the switch up to Austin to finish out the remaining 21 games this season, Hintz recorded 4 assists, one coming during the Robertson Cup Playoff series with the Minot Minotauros.
Hintz is the 11th player to commit for the Bruins this season and will join 7 NAHL alumni, in addition a handful of fellow NAHL freshmen at Stevens Point in the fall.
