Brahmas Assistant Captain Keskintepe makes NCAA DIII Commitment
The Lone Star Brahmas of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that Assistant Captain Alex Keskintepe has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Colby College in the NESCAC.
Keskintepe, 21, suited up for his final season of junior hockey with the Lone Star Brahmas, appearing in 59 regular season games, recording 16 points (2 goals, 14 assists), including a 3 game point streak to begin the month of March. As the Assistant Captain, the Atlanta, GA native was selected to represent the South Division at the 2024 Top Prospects Tournament in Pittsburgh, PA.
As the South Division Champions, the 6’4” blueliner and the Brahmas advanced to the Robertson Cup Finals where they ultimately swept their series with the Anchorage Wolverines to advance to the Championship game. After a thrilling 4-2 win against the Maryland Black Bears, Keskintepe and the Brahmas were crowned the 2023-2024 Robertson Cup Champions.
Keskintepe is the 12th player to commit for the Brahmas this season.
