Jr. Blues Assistant Captain Hudak makes NCAA DI Commitment

The Springfield Jr. Blues of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that Assistant Captain Hadley Hudak has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Lake Superior State University in the CCHA.
Hudak, 20, is a three-year NAHL player, suiting up for the Springfield Jr. Blues for the entire duration of his career, earning himself the title of assistant captain this past season. In total, the Canton, MI native appeared in 127 regular season games, recording 56 points (26 goals, 30 assists) his best game coming on January 27th, 2024 during the Jr. Blues 5-3 victory over the Janesville Jets. During this victory, Hudak recorded a hat-trick and an assist to help propel his team to victory.
As a consistent and longtime player for the Jr. Blues, the 6’4” forward was selected to participate in the 2024 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament.
"We're very excited for Hadley in earning his commitment to play for Lake State next season. Hadley has worked extremely hard over the past few years to get to where he's at and have the season he did for us. Not only was he great on the ice for us, but he is a great teammate and leader,” stated Jr. Blues Head Coach Todd Pococke.
Hudak is the 7th player to commit for the Jr. Blues this season and will join a handful of NAHL alumni as first year students at Lake Superior in the fall.
