The New Hampshire Mountain Kings of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Marko Giourof has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Curry College in the CCC.
Giourof, 20, just wrapped up his first and final season in the NAHL. The California native began his career in the NAHL with the Kenai River Brown Bears, playing 36 games in Alaska before finishing out the last 10 games of the year with the Mountain Kings.
Over the course of the year, the future Colonel tallied a total of 21 points (11 goals, 10 assists). Of his 11 goals, four were on the powerplay while one served as the game-winner for Kenai.
Giourof is the 13th player to commit for the Mountain Kings this season and will join 6 NAHL alumni at Curry in the fall.
