Ice Wolves forward Schermerhorn makes NCAA DI Commitment

The New Mexico Ice Wolves of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Michael Schermerhorn has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Notre Dame in the Big Ten.
Schermerhorn, 20, is playing his first season of junior hockey with the NAHL. The Michigan native has appeared in 60 games for the Ice Wolves, recording 53 points (22 goals, 31 assists), including four game-winning goals and five power play goals.
As we head into the divisional semi-finals, the Ice Wolves will be facing off with the #1 seeded Lone Star Brahmas. Game one in the best of five series will take place this Friday at 7:30 PM CDT at the NYTEX Sports Centre.
Schermerhorn is the 9th player to commit for the Ice Wolves this season.
